Women Friendships Community
Let's talk about friendship corner...
How to love a Friend
Have you ever found yourself in a relationship where you know the other person is a person of character with personality traits that complement yours, but you find the relationship more tumultous then desired.
Each half of the friendships feels as though the other does not understand them, care for them, or have their best interest at heart.
I am sure that we have all experienced this sometime in our lives. The challenge becomes the decision of deciding if the relationship is healthy and worthy of salvation.
I read a book this month that has been teaching me about the art of loving my significant others in each of my relationships. No, I do not have multiple men in my life. I am refering to all of my relationships - friendships, romantic, siblings, and parents.
Do you believe that every human interprets love differently? Have your friends, siblings, parents, or significant other ever proclaimed, "you do not love me"? If so, has this left you scratching your head trying to figure out what are they thinking. " I sacrifice for them daily what do you mean by this statement."
Maybe you are not speaking their love language. I am a firm believer that we all perceive love differently, and if someone is not speaking our love language chances are they will not be in our lives for very long.
WHO IS JESUS? (THAT'S MY KING!)
I challenge the kindredfriendships community to take the opportunity to read another book this month. There are books in this series for couples and singles, so no one has to feel left out.
The Five Love Languanges is an insightful book. I believe that it will teach the kindredfrienship community how to love those whom we care about deeply.
